Welcome to the New Zealand Centre for Conservation Medicine,
a world-class facility dedicated to enhancing ecosystem health.
Our modern sustainably built centre located at Auckland Zoo serves as the Zoo’s veterinary hospital, a national wildlife referral centre and an international hub that supports research and education focused on conservation medicine.
The facilities include a large treatment room, modern surgery, diagnostic laboratory, imaging room, intensive care ward and hospital suites for our in-patients. The centre also has a library and 60-seat lecture theatre.
